I utilize mental health therapy as a powerful tool to help rebalance ourselves in day-to-day life in addition to the wounds from our pasts.

I am committed to helping you tap into your forgotten strengths, navigate challenges, and cultivate resilience to achieve your hopes for well-being.

My Specialties

Where I do my best work

01 crisis of faith

My faith is such a core part of who I am. So when I started to question it, it feels like I was unraveling at the seams. I never expected to question the beliefs that once felt like home, but now everything feels uncertain and heavy. It’s lonely, confusing, and hard to talk about—especially when people around me don’t understand.

02 sadness & depression

Most days, I feel like I’m just going through the motions—tired, unmotivated, and disconnected from who I used to be. It’s hard to explain to anyone, and even harder to believe it could feel different. I need help to feel like myself again—or maybe find a new version I actually recognize.

04 lgbtqia+ exploration

I’ve been questioning parts of who I am, and it’s bringing up a mix of fear, relief, and confusion. I want to feel accepted and whole—but I’m scared of what this might mean for my relationships, my faith, or how I see myself. I need someone to help me explore with compassion, remind me that who I am is not wrong, and hold space while I figure out what feels true.

03 trauma

Some days, I feel like I’m still stuck in survival mode. I can’t always explain why I’m anxious, shut down, or on edge—it just feels like my body never got the message that things are safe now. I’ve learned to hold it all together, but underneath, I’m exhausted. It’s hard to trust people. It’s hard to trust myself. I need someone who can help me make sense of what I’ve gone through.

The Process

Reach out

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to do it alone. When you reach out, I’ll personally respond to answer questions and help you explore whether we’re a good fit. I offer therapy in Salt Lake City, Utah for adults navigating trauma, depression, faith transitions, and LGBTQIA+ identity.

See change

As we move through the work together, you may begin to notice subtle shifts—more clarity, steadier emotions, or a greater sense of self. Change doesn’t always arrive all at once, but it builds, session by session, as you learn to navigate life with more confidence and self-trust.

Feel free

As therapy helps you release what you’ve been carrying, you may start to feel lighter—more grounded in who you are and what you want. This is where healing turns into freedom: freedom to feel, to choose, and to live with more authenticity. My Salt Lake City, Utah counseling practice is here to support that journey, every step of the way.

service fees & insurance

I’ve chosen to offer self-pay therapy so we can focus on what truly matters in your healing—not what’s approved by insurance. This allows for more privacy, flexibility, and individualized care without diagnoses or session limits. Many clients also prefer the freedom and confidentiality that self-pay provides.

  • 60 minute intake: $190

  • 50 minute session: $170

While I’m a self-pay provider, I partner with Mentaya to help you get reimbursed if you have out-of-network benefits. Mentaya can check your coverage, file claims on your behalf, and simplify the reimbursement process—saving you time and money. Many clients receive 50–80% back, depending on their plan.
